Murtala Dan Osi Supports Obi/Kwankwaso Alliance Ahead of 2027

As political realignments intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, a digital creator Murtala Dan Osi has publicly declared his support for a potential presidential alliance between Peter Obi and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Dan Osi based his endorsement on the historical necessity of power rotation among Nigeria's major ethnic groups, arguing that the Southeast region must be given the opportunity to lead the country in the interest of national justice and equity.

In a public statement addressing the state of the nation, Dan Osi analyzed Nigeria's leadership trajectory through the framework of the country's three major ethnic groups: Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo, commonly represented by the acronym "WA-ZO-BIA."

He argued that since the return to democratic rule in 1999, the highest political office has rotated exclusively between the Hausa/Fulani ("Zo") and the Yoruba ("Wa"), leaving the Igbo ("Bia") marginalized at the federal executive level. 

"From 1999 we have tried Wa-Zo but never tried Bia. This time around let's try them and see. Therefore, Igbo also have the freedom and right to contest and win the election," Dan Osi stated, referencing the cumulative years of northern and southwestern leadership.

Going beyond a verbal endorsement, Dan Osi committed his household and personal resources to ensure the success of an Obi-Kwankwaso ticket, regardless of the political platform they eventually choose to adopt for the 2027 race.

Using strong political hyperbole to emphasize his unconditional loyalty to the proposed alliance, he stated that his support remains absolute even if the duo decides to contest under unconventional or non-political banners.

"Wherever Obi/Kwankwaso goes, my family and I will support them. I will not only vote for them, I will use my hard-earned money to mobilize people to vote for them," he declared. "If they like let them join DSTV, ORT, CD DVD, ARTV, NNPC, OPAY or NEPA. The only solution to injustice is justice."

He concluded his address with an expression of faith in the country's future, stating, "Nigeria will be OK, Insha Allah."
